Safiya is passionate about equitable participatory research that guides community-led problem-solving.

At Bridgeable, Safiya uses her expertise in design research methodologies and workshop facilitation to enable collaboration between diverse stakeholders. Taking an intersectional and anti-oppressive approach to research, Safiya works to break down complex health issues and their determinants into actionable insights that reflect community priorities and drive social innovation. Safiya holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a BSc in Biochemistry from McGill University.
