Johanna is passionate about ensuring that better understandings of people in all their complexity drive great design.

As a design researcher, Johanna is especially curious to ask questions and learn about why people do what they do, rendering these insights into strategic and innovative change that provides meaningful experiences. At Bridgeable, she strives to translate research into human-centred solutions to complex challenges, bringing expertise from the social sciences and design thinking. Johanna holds a PhD and MA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto, and a BSc Honours in Biology from Queen’s University.
